I own the HE1000 V2 and am currently able to borrow an Arya Stealth (v3) from someone to help him burn them and to also test the sound. I found out the same things as what most people talked about when they were comparing these 2 (similarly, HE1000 V2 vs HE1000SE): Arya SE demonstrates more details but has a quite constricted soundstage, while HE1000 V2 is the opposite.

The HE1000 V2 was often regarded as HIFIMAN's bassiest open-back set, with many people finding it a lot more agreeable than the overly bright, but insanely detailed HE1000se. The Hifiman HE1000 Stealth still sounds very refined (top resolution), greatly dynamic, lively and vocal forward. The sound stage even if a bit narrower than before, still is excellent and you a nice spacious presentation where the mids really shine. The stereo imaging is excellent with impressive left/right balance.

This is a radical change for the HE1000. The Stealth Magnets did things to the sound in exactly the way I have alluded to in the previous revisions of the Arya, Sundara and HE400 Headphones. The HE1000 V3 IS different from the 1 and 2 version. It is still an HE1000. The wide sound is still there, just slightly less.
